An asteroid threatens Earth. The mission is urgent. The math is precise. But humanity's greatest threat may not be coming from space.

Read as It Unfolds

As civilizations approach their inflection points, they face the same challenge: will they destroy themselves under the weight of their own fears—or will they learn to see beyond the illusion of separation?

Aadi has been trained for a single mission. An asteroid is on course to annihilate the world, and failure is not an option. As he and his crewmate leave orbit to intercept it, tensions on the planet below escalate toward war.

But some existential threats do not originate in space.

This is not a story about the end of the world. It is a story about what becomes possible when we learn to see what has always been right in front of us.

Written From the Orbital Perspective

Ron Garan is a former NASA astronaut, fighter pilot, and test pilot who has spent 178 days in space aboard both the Space Shuttle and Russian Soyuz spacecraft. He performed spacewalks to help build the International Space Station.

From orbit, he experienced what astronauts call the Overview Effect—a profound cognitive shift that comes from seeing Earth as a fragile, interconnected whole, where borders disappear and humanity's shared fate becomes undeniable.

Infinite Simplicity explores consciousness, unity, and the moment when a species must decide whether it will continue to divide the world into "us" and "them"—or learn to see what has always been there.
